Native Americans, Lewis and Clark, gold prospecting, stagecoaches, and U.S Army Cantonments have all played a part in the history of Whitehall, Montana. Now, you too, can take part in the recreation of this exciting time period.
Our Mission
Montana History “Live”, Inc. (MHL) is an organization of people who bring history to life. MHL enables its members to make history a valuable part of the lives of those who experience the events it provides. We achieve this purpose through the exchange and sharing of information and experiences centered on accurate, active, and participatory historical interpretation. MHL, through its membership, is committed to leading its site interpreters, educators, researchers, curators and volunteers in the following fields: historical agriculture, historical trades and manufacturing, historical clothing and food ways, living history programming, care of collections and program delivery.
MHL is a registered non-profit corporation, and affiliated with the following organizations:
